Geologic Evaluation

One of the first steps in establishing or expanding a mining asset is to complete a geologic study. Our team has experience performing field investigations and geologic modeling of mineral deposits. Accurate geologic evaluations will help you make data-driven decisions within your project. We combine site specific factors like local geology, environmental risks, economic requirements, and other variables to create accurate resource models and reserve delineations. Resource models can be segmented to show ranges of specific parameters like coal reserves that are below 2.0% sulfur in a deposit, for example.

Coupled with field investigations, digital models are created to bring thousands of data points together into one common dataset. We pair drone imagery with field evaluated geologic relationships and digital models to create a combined dataset that gives our clients the whole picture of a deposit. Accurate resource categorization is pivotal to creating a feasibility study that includes targeting and designing the best course of resource extraction.

Modeling data we aggregate can then be used to design and test potential mining scenarios and economic conditions. We prioritize saving our client’s time and money so when it comes down to permit applications, output data can be a deciding factor for your project. When a client is ready to transition the project from the exploration and feasibility study phase, our software will make a smooth transition to the mine design and implementation stage.
