Members of our team have been requested as expert witnesses in court cases involving mine reclamation, road disputes, road designs, royalty disputes, gravel deposit valuations, dam designs, and hydrologic structures. Our proven track record of success makes Lewicki and Associates personnel qualified and knowledgeable assets regarding permitting, reclamation, and other regulatory factors.  When we testify, our team members use our industry knowledge to translate sometimes difficult scenarios into clear and understandable situations that are easily digestible in a court of law. In addition, we develop and provide input for legal agreements for mineral royalties, leases, and property sales.

Our founder, Greg Lewicki, testified as a qualified expert at an administrative hearing and provided technical assistance during a challenging matter involving the Bureau of Land Management’s decision that a limestone deposit in western Colorado was of “common variety.” After the matter went through four levels of review and appeal, the resolution yielded a favorable result before the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado.
